Bookings - Easter 2011 Fitzroy Falls

With Bishop Porteous coming to confer the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Easter 2011 camp at Fitzroy Falls, it will be necessary to make sure that all candidates are properly prepared.

This includes more than the catechetical formation which parents give!

Confirmations create a bit of a clerical avalanche, and as a result we will be bringing the date for bookings FORWARD to October 1, 2010.

If you have a child who you would like to present as a candidate for confirmation you should start getting your paperwork in order. Helen Brearley can help in this regard. Email us (our address is at the top of this page) if you need help contacting Helen. In the first instance, you should obtain a copy of your child's baptismal certificate.

Bishop Julian Porteous at 2011 Fitzroy Falls Easter Camp

After a meeting with Bishop Julian Porteous today I am thrilled to announce that while he can't chaplain the entire Easter 2011 Fitzroy Falls Catholic homeschoolers' camp, Bishop Porteous has generously offered to attend a part of the camp, give some talks and confer the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The Bishop was incredibly gracious and hospitable, giving each of the children a small gift - holy cards he had received from Pope Benedict XVI no less!

2011 Camp Dates

The Camp dates for the 2011 Easter Catholic Homeschoolers Camp at Fitzroy Falls are Monday 11th April to Friday 15th April.

Bookings will open on November 1. Families wishing to attend are warmly encouraged to subscribe to this blog to ensure automatic notifications of any updates.
